Welcome to
A MUNICIPALITY SUSTAINABLE LEGACY FOR YOU NATURAL TRADITIONAL
A MUNICIPALITY SUSTAINABLE
In 2015, a set of global goals was adopted to eradicate poverty, protect the planet, and ensure its prosperity. These form the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This ambitious global agenda for social, political, and economic development by the United Nations (UN) focuses on people, the planet, peace, and the importance of building partnerships. It is structured around 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at creating a better world and leaving no one behind.
The Limpias Council seeks to promote responsible, sustainable, and accessible tourism for all, committed to fulfilling the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, which are universal in scope. Tourism is promoted as a driving force for economic growth, inclusive development, and the municipality's environmental sustainability. The involvement of the tourism sector in achieving the 17 SDGs can play a key role in engaging younger generations in a sustainability-focused future, which calls for collective involvement and participation.
